**Updated Leak Adjustment Policy**

The Greenfield Board of Mayor and Aldermen passed an ordinance on the third and final reading on 01/22/19 updating a new leak adjustment policy.

-1 adjustment per property per 12 month period

-Evidence of the leak and that it has been repaired must be presented

-An average of the last 12 months bills will be adjusted or a $50.00 maximum

-No adjustment for leaky or defective toilets or faucets

**Changes to Water Rates**

The Greenfield Board of Mayor and Aldermen have passed an ordinance to change water rates that will begin with the March 10th billing period.  There will no longer be a 3,000 gallon minimum on water.  There will be a $6.00 base fee starting at 0 gallons usage.  The customer will be charge $3.00 per 1,000 gallons of water used above and beyond their base bill (or $0.30 per hundred gallons used).  Sewer and garbage rates will remain the same.  The City of Greenfield was required to make these changes to be in compliance with the State’s Water and Wastewater Finance Board.

**Changes to bulk pick-up policy**

The Board of Mayor Aldermen have passed a bulk pick-up policy.  Pick-up items cannot be placed out on the curb until 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up date.  Customer with items must call City Hall to be placed on a pick-up list.  If you are not on the list, you will not be picked up and will be required to move items until the next pick-up date.  Any questions, please call City Hall.
