City of Greenfield Public Works is currently accepting resumes for the position of Laborer.  This position if an exempt, at-will employee working under the general direction of the Mayor and Board of Aldermen.

The pay rate will be DOQ (depends on qualifications); plus a comprehensive benefits package.  The City of Greenfield is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

A list of qualification and job description must be picked up and turned in with resumes.  The list of qualifications, job description and benefits package will be available at City Hall or at the Dr. Nathan Porter Library.  Resumes will be accepted until Tuesday, September 1, 2020.

**Updated Leak Adjustment Policy**

The Greenfield Board of Mayor and Aldermen passed an ordinance on the third and final reading on 01/22/19 updating a new leak adjustment policy.

-1 adjustment per property per 12 month period

-Evidence of the leak and that it has been repaired must be presented

-An average of the last 12 months bills will be adjusted or a $50.00 maximum

-No adjustment for leaky or defective toilets or faucets

**Changes to bulk pick-up policy**

The Board of Mayor Aldermen have passed a bulk pick-up policy.  Pick-up items cannot be placed out on the curb until 48 hours prior to the scheduled pick-up date.  Customer with items must call City Hall to be placed on a pick-up list by 3:00 on the day prior.  If you are not on the list, you will not be picked up and will be required to move items until the next pick-up date.  Any questions, please call City Hall.
